We're married!!

The day finally arrived and was beyond perfect.
Sure, it was cold and windy but atleast it didn't rain!

It still hasn't hit me that we're actually married now. It probably won't until we get the license back and I start changing my name legally.
I'm looking forward to getting photos back from Jenn. I just know she captured the day perfectly. I've been constantly looking at the snapshots my friends took.

I plan on starting a "newlywed" blog soon. :)

3 days!

Only three more days!
Fortunately, I think everything is finished and ready to go.
Unfortunately, I'm so tired!

I'm so excited to see all of my out of town family, especially my grandpa. Nich has yet to meet him so... hopefully they get along :)

Today is my last day of work, and a full day at that.
Tomorrow I'm getting my hair dyed and we have our rehearsal dinner.
Friday I'm getting my nails done and getting my ring and necklace cleaned!
SATURDAY SATURDAY SATURDAY.

It's looking like a limb torn off
Or altogether just taken apart
We're reeling through an endless fall
We are the ever-living ghost of what once was

But no one is ever gonna love you more than I do No one's gonna love you more than I do

And anything to make you smile
It is my better side of you to admire
But they should never take so long
Just to be over then back to another one

But no one is ever gonna love you more than I do No one's gonna love you more than I do

But someone,
They could have warned you
When things start splitting at the seams and now
The whole thing's tumbling down
Things start splitting at the seams and now
If things start splitting at the seams and now,
It's tumbling down
Hard.

Anything to make you smile
You are the ever-living ghost of what once was
I never want to hear you say
That you'd be better off
Or you liked it that way

But no one is ever gonna love you more than I do No one's gonna love you more than I do

But someone
They should have warned you
When things start splitting at the seams and now
The whole thing's tumbling down
Things start splitting at the seams and now
If things start splitting at the seams and now,
It's tumbling down
Hard

FIVE. MORE. WEEKS.
EEK!

Ok, but really. Everything is running smoothly as of now. There's been a few bumps in the road to wed but we're good! Except for the fact that my mom moved to IDAHO this week. Of course, she'll be back for the wedding... but still....... sad..... I know......
I took my bridal portraits last week and so far I've gotten two sneak peaks and OMG. Fabulous. I love our photographer!
My preschool job is starting back so I'm trying to make sure things are finished so I can focus on my kiddos and not have to stress about too much to do. But for now, pardon me while I go bury myself in table decorations and RSVP cards.
But first, let me just say that I don't understand why people dont send RSVPs back. 44 cents wasted, buddy!

Just over nine weeks away. Really? Yes, really.
Honestly, we're (mostly) calm at this point.
Invitations are finished, not yet delivered but finished.
Rehearsal dinner is booked and planned.
Bridal portraits are booked.
Suits for the boys are picked out, not yet bought (but that will be done this weekend!)
Groomsmen gifts are here in a big box taking up space ;)
Bridesmaids gifts are partially bought, partially still ideas in my head.
Tree painting guest book is finished.
GuestBOOK is not yet ordered.
Mother of the bride dress not yet bought.
Jewelry for moi, not yet even thought of.
Hair accessories for moi are picked out/bought/in my possession.
Cake topper is here.
Table decorations are half way finished.
Floral consultation done, payment not yet started.
Rehearsal dinner dress WAS bought, but I sent it back for a refund (to buy a cheaper dress)
Flower girl baskets are bought.
Ring bearer suit bought.
Bridesmaids dresses were bought a while ago, should be in the end of August.
Rentals have been taken care of.
Back up plan, sigh, has been decided.
Bachelorette party has been planned.
Bachelor party is being planned.

Weddings are so nitty gritty. I've enjoyed planning it but I look forward to being a wife and having more free time to spend together. And having a dining room table again. (Currently, it is being used as my desk/invitation work place/etc)
Maybe people will be lazy and not rummage through our registry and just give us money. We have so. much. stuff. already. And a dream to buy a house. And I want an iPad.
The end. For now.

Crunch time is beginning.....

Lately I've been working on the little details, trying to get it all picked out if not ordered.
For the most part, everything is picked out. We're just waiting for money to come in to pay for everything. Sigh.
Goal is to send invitations out beginning of July. We're still waiting to get them cut and from there we will just be busy bees every waking moment to get them done! Doing them ourselves has saved us so much money! Our house has become an explosion of crafty things for the wedding. From wedding invitations to the guest book tree painting to wedding magazines GALORE.
We're picking out our flowers within the next couple weeks, I've been collecting several photos of what I like, and from there we'll see what will be in season/not super expensive to get. With only doing bouquets and bouts, we're saving a lot of money having such a naturally beautiful location.
Still on the hunt for a MOB dress for my mom and a suit for the ring bearer (I've found some ideas online, just need to go look in store)
I found shoes for myself, finally. We have the shoes picked out for the guys and POSSIBLY the gals. $$$ needed.

Just over three months to go, yeehaw!
